We think United TaeKwonDo Academy is a fantastic school. Mr. Klein provides a learning environment that combines all the TaeKwonDo moves and techniques with an understanding that along with those things you learn self respect, self control and strength of character. He sincerely cares about the kids and makes sure they are having fun and also being challenged. Both of my children – ages 11 and 8 are enrolled in the school and love it.

My 11 year old moved schools before his black belt testing and Mr. Klein and his staff made sure that he was not only prepared for the testing but also fit into the school. My younger daughter was afraid to start at our old school but after we moved to Mr. Klein's school and she saw the inviting nature of the school she agreed to try classes. Now she loves to learn the basic karate techniques and have some fun also.

One think that I think that is unique and special at United TaeKwonDo is the emphasis on charity work. I was so proud of my son after Mr. Klein challenged the students to give back last year. He organized a fund raiser all by himself and combined basketball and donation work, he collected over $600 for Enable, a charity for assists persons who have permanent or chronic disabilities. The kids look forward to the charity work that the school does throughout the year and we like the positive effect it has on the kids and needy charities.

Mr. Klein's school has a wonderful family atmosphere. We love the fact that it is a learning and friendly environment with a strong traditional philosophy, which stresses learning not only the basics, hard work and proving your ability but also giving back to the community.

My son, A.J., joined Bryan Klein's UTA school when he was 7 years old.   Just 4 years later, at the age of 11, he tested for and received his Black Belt in Taekwondo.  What a proud moment this was for us!  With the help of the wonderful instructors at the school, we have watched A.J. grow from a quiet, somewhat timid little boy, into a confident and strong young man.  He has learned to focus, work hard and perservere to achieve an amazing goal.  As a probationary Black Belt student, A.J. now looks forward to continuing his journey at the school to achieve even higher degree Black Belts and to become a true leader in his community!

My name is Caroline Smith and I have been taking TaeKwonDo at Bryan Klein's United TaeKwonDo Academies in Manalapan for about 6 years.  I have earned my senior advanced black belt, and I am a junior instructor.  For me, TaeKwonDo has made such an impact on my life.  Going in there all those years ago I was the shy, kind of quiet girl.  I wasn't sure of myself, and my self-confidence just wasn't there.  Now six years later, that has changed entirely.  I find myself in front of a class warming them up, or helping out the head instructor. even talking to parents and answering any questions they might have.  My self-confidence has gone through the roof, I'm not afraid to talk to people, or get in front of the class.  Even in school it has made a difference, I go up to people and talk to them all the time.  I've found that I put myself out there so much more and am rewarded greatly.  I am in the JROTC program at my school, and went through a big application process and an interview.  Had it not been for TaeKwonDo, and the amazing instructors that are here teaching, I most likely would not have been ready for that interview, or even to apply to a school where I really didn't know anyone.  Aside from confidence TaeKwonDo has also been a great way for me to stay in great physical shape, as well as learn some skills to stay healthy.  Overall in taking TaeKwonDo here, I have completely changed as a person, and hope to continue on this path, and continue with this for the rest of my life.
